I agree with Draggy, it is an improvement. No Salubri so Inquisition, Anarchs, Bubonic Plague etc rolled in... I like their new role as CDC/forest guardians. It explains the chaos theit extinction ushered in, as well as answeres the big question why all the clans were so bust tying their shoes while the Usurpers slaughtered them.

I have one fear in this: isn't the new role of Salubri in conflict with the role of Children of Haqim? Or is it Salubri as Kine Protection Departement, Assamites as Internal Security?

It might also explain how the two clans were such good friends though.

It slightly makes me wonder about the Salubri's clan friendship with the Tzimisce in this new light. So far their only "kinship" comes from the fact that the Tremere wronged them both.

Maybe they get along in the fact that there are some cases where the Kine need to be culled down abit, and the Tzimisce happen to be the perfect people to give someone to make them disappear?

Perhaps quite literally into the sofa.

Yup. Transylvanian Gangrel and Nosferatu come to mind... Used to be Salubri, but they are somehow not around.
