| Here's something that I often see in the game, but this time it happened in a very inconvenient place.
I was running into the Confession outer gate, when I met a couple of pedestrians trying to leave. I sighed, and backed off to let them move, because the police frown on killing people for getting in your way.
Unfortunately, they locked up. The pedestrians, one male and one female, did that little twitchy thing they do when they get locked in place, and can't move. I've seen this happen in Santa Monica (cop and hooker, in front of clinic) and Hollywood (cop and female, across from Vesuvius), but never Los Angeles. Finally, I used noclip to go through the outer wall, and into the courtyard. They were there every time I came back to L.A., too. Once pedestrians get locked up like that, they stay that way.
Too bad you can't just shove them out of the way, without harming them... or pick them up and move them. In Santa Monica, I tried grabbing one and feeding from them; this separated them, but I got a Masquerade violation. We should be able to pick up people and throw them around.
Just sayin'... | |

| I've got a solution for you man. Try running up to them and jumping in the air, while in mid air crouch, and you will land on their head which will make them roll out of the way. No police or Masquerade violation and they move every time. It's how I get around sticky situations like that. Try it out. | |

| Actually, I tried the jumping on their head thing, and they didn't move. If they're well and truly locked up -- not just confused and standing around -- then the only thing that will break them up is killing one, or feeding from one of them (after you feed, you push them away, which displaces them a foot or two). And I'm unwilling to take either the hit on my Humanity, or a Masquerade breach. After a few times of having to noclip through the wall, I just restarted the game from before they locked up, and it was okay. It just makes me wish you could push pedestrians out of the way without killing them, especially when you're in a hurry. Hence the name of the topic. | |

| A Special 'squeal' option: hotket putton for an infernal squirrel noice, and all humans in a 5-metre radius jump and run in opposite directions.
I'd buy it. | |

Haha No, Childe of Malkav had it. Baldur's Gate. There's a Ranger who's taken one too many hits to the head, and he thinks his pet hamster is a miniature giant space hamster, named 'Boo'. In combat, one of his lines is, "Go for the eyes, Boo!" As a point of interest, there's some kind of magic scroll in the Companion Mod that allows you to summon some 'mighty extraplanar being' if you sacrifice one of your Companions. I've never played CompMod, but I've seen the video on YouTube. The spell summons a small rodent, and there is an mp3 from Baldur's Gate of the Ranger shouting, "Go for the eyes, Boo!" The line about infernal squirrels made me think of this. | |

| What infernal squirrel btw? The only squirrel in this game is the one in your front yard that Dennis wants to fuck, if you are a cop. - | |
