 Hacking feat improve

As you may know i want to make the "useless" feats more useful. So my recent thought brought me to the point of adding things you can do with the hacking feat. But what? It kinda has to be to do with the terminals, so i thought maybe on some terminals there is besides things like "email" "contracts" etc. a choice of "paypal" where u can get money from, "secret notes" (which can only be see with at least a hacking feat of 6) which contains information worth some xp or makes a quest more easy, get items from a locker or whatever. You know what i mean? More ideas of you are appreciated if you like this idea somehow.. although i think extra xp should only be available with a hacking eat of at least 8 or 9, and not too much either, maybe maximum of 5 xp for every secret note there is. For example in the clinic administration terminal the option "orders" with a hack feat of 5 you can order some morphine bottles to your haven which you can sell then cuz i t will be booked from the clinics money.. give me your thoughts^^

I'm not sure about additional hidden contents for the computers. But perhaps this idea can help with the password problems we have discussed in the other topic:
Instead of changing the passwords, we make either the hacking skill or having found the clue on the password a requirement for the emails or the comuter function to be shown in the first place.
So if you want to open the CS cabinet in the clinic, either you need a hacking feat of 4, or you must have read the emails on the administration computer and on Malcolms computer, so you know the password is the name of his affair, and she is called Paige. If you don't have either, you can still open the CS cabinet directory, but the lock/unlock functions won't appear.

What about unprotected directories on "the same" computer? Those make disabling the whole computers wrong.
Is it possible to just make those password-protected directories visible but unaccessible? (Since disabling them altogether seems demented..: I have finally raised my hacking skillz to 10 with this chinese manual, let me go all the way back to Santa Monica checking every room every computer along the way!)

I never remember the passwords <_<

I'd love to have a proper network of computers in the game, because there is internet, how come I can't check my email in an internet cafe?, but frankly, the passwords, I never remember them, and I do put points in hacking because I am lazy <_<

I made myself a list, putting them to paper... But I'm too lazy to use it geek

Even if I do remember them, I just don't want to type them in manually. So I spend xp on hacking.

Yep. I have tried making a terminal in the internet cafe usable for reading your email. But the problem is that a lot of emails are connected to mailbox quests. And if the mailbox and the haven pc terminal are not on the same map, shit happens...
I have even tied to script around the problem by putting mailbox events on hold. But there the next problem turns up: The Nossie haven is on the downtown hub map. So this is usually the next mailbox to be found, and items just get lost in the unused mailbox of the Nossie haven. Trying to get around that problem was the cause of the mailbox issues with CE 1.4.

Jad, I hadn't intended to turn the computers off completely, or not to show unprotected stuff.
Perhaps a better idea for what I had in mind would be to put everything that is password protected into the hackterm file twice. If you either have the necessary hacking skill, or if you have found the clues for the pasword, the real function is used. If you don't meet at least one of the requirements, a double of the function is displayed, and on calling that, you get an error message. With that we could even include the usual "wrong password three times in a row will shut down the sysrem"

Nope, not using "saved" pws from anywhere. Hacking, guessing, or running around searching for pw clues.
