Creepy man in the alleys.

So I am the new guy on the forums and i just picked this game up again from a 6 month abscence and I now am playing both the final nights and CE. So in santa monica after leaving your house for the first time i make a left then another left into an alley and theres a strange guy and he puffs into smoke. Can someone explain his signfigance? Do i have to be a certain clan to interact with him?

I've never seen this guy myself, though I suspect him(/her/it?) to be one of the smokey guys someone posted a screen of a while back ago with suspicions of it being a ghost of some sort.
I don't really know much to be honest but based on my own experiences he isn't anyone/thing important.

Really cause he's been buggin the absolute sh!t out of me. I do a couple quests and then check back to see if he disappears but nothing!

Could you post a screen of him?
Would like to see what he looks like, it might also help others with more knowledge and/or experience to identify him.

I'll have one up by tomorrow having some electricity problems, but i can describe him right quick. He's like that sabbat guy when you get hit by the bat. "Those of you in the first few rows will get wet!"

Yep that guy. He's an add from UP 7.9. He just walks from your apt to trip's and hides in the alley where he disappears if you approach/attack.

He does nothing else but creep you after you have blown th warehouse :-)

He's called "obfuscator". You have to find his trigger on the Santa Monica map, and disable it. Now transfer the cash

Ah thanks everyone! I was gettin real creeped out, and you said he shows up when you blow the warehouse sky high? I've seen him before i even meet Mercurio.
