I was recently playing TFN and wondered to myself "What if enemies walked around and had certain patrols heading around not just sitting in 1 designated point. Like the trio in one of the train cars in Explosive Beginning quest coud be a walking and talking 3 man squad, roaming the ground for sorry punks like yourself.
Also wtf is that hobo doing in the middle of a gang operation?
When you go down to get the astrolite for mercurio 2 men watching the back (makes sense in this crazy ass town). We could even have Malkav and Feral voice em
Well other then replaceing and/or moveing enemies around we can make a few changes to them like enemies will basically "see" you if you just happen to walk in front of them even with your 10 points in sneak it never made much sense how you could walk 4 feet past someone and they'd never know.
Tiny little AI changes here and there could make them do a little bit of turning to watch there back or we could edit in the little tuna boxes from the tutorial for distractions. Also if any enemy sees multiple boxes just tossed up into the air I think they'd like to check it out. Maybe its an engine limitation idk
This would be HUGE and if implemented might have to be saved for TFN 2.0 or an expansion compatible with TFN.
I have no idea how to mod any game in general but if editing maps is possible without putting in giant quest bugs, then altering them to allow multiple layers of stealth and quest completion could be possible. Like Venus's kill boris quest. Yeah you can crawl through vents or blow the brains of every person in that place all over the walls. But what if you could dominate someone or use eyes of the serpent or blood of the sinner (or some Baali power to invoke a controllable demon in them?) and have them escort you straight Boris's room and then cover his desk, clotes, hands, and walls with some new pink and red paint.
it would save you an unnecessary fight and your absolved of all charges and your told to gtfo. Or we could go the simple route and connect more of the ventilation shafts for easy access through the empire apartments building or just going into Boris's room and stealth killing him and going back into the vents.
