| The other I was watching Interview With The Vampire, and when Louis first realizes that he can feed from animals it came to me, if they can feed on them, could they turned them? I have never even heard of a mention of animal vampires, so I was wondering if anyone here maybe knew if it was possible to have like an eternal pet, a pet cat vampire. | |

| Of course there are animal in the vampire society. We call them Brujah.
Otherwise I am not familiar with any Vampire animals. I think it has something to do with a the creatures intellekt and will. The Tremere turn animals into familiars, but more is impossible I think.

| I wouldn't call a Brujah an animal, I think the Gangrel would be the vampire's society pets.
I guess I didn't consider the intellect part, but for that maybe a monkey would have enough intellect to be turned, it would surely be scary to see a crazy monkey vampire. Also, the tremere turned people into gargoyles, which are basically animals right?, maybe they can turn them into vampire-like creatures at the least.

| Looks through Clan Book Gangrel and nods.Yup, it even says Animals is one of our nicknames, along with Outlanders. So I would think Gangrel qualify a tad bit more than the Rabble. And no, there are no kindred animals. If an animal is drained of blood and fed vitae, they do not awaken and are still dead. Animals (aside from Gangrel, that is) can only be ghouled in the same manner as humans, but must also be interacted with by the Animal Ken skill and the Animalism discipline. And if you didn't know, ghouls -- either human or animal -- will live forever so long as they continue drinking vitae at least once every month. But that's just in VtM. Other vampire mythologies may have animal vampires (Bunnicula, for instance), but they don't matter. | |

| Ditto to no Kindred animals... they just die. Ghoul animals are very loyal though.
My nephew and nieces loved Bunnicula. Turned out he only drained vegetables though. Great childrens book, unless you are some fundamentalist who believes books about vampire bunnies will turn children into satan worshippers.

Of course they do. And old rock'n Roll singles have a message from Satan as well, if you play them backwards. I'm talking vinyl here, if you youngbloods still know what that is... Ah, wait a moment, Bunny vampires?!? You talk about Playboy? They suck the silicon out of boob implants? -

I still support the thought of the Malcavian describing the Brujah as dogs.

| Animals can't be turned into kindred because they have no souls They have no conscience of self, so, they just die. They don't "see the light and are pulled back in", they just cease to function. But animal ghouls, yeah, awesomeness. Duncan, stop sharing lulz ! D: | |

- This is from the malkavian clan about the Brujah: - Quote :
- Good animals, the Brujah Good animals. Not herd, by any means, not wolves or cats. Dogs. Angry dogs, but smart
dogs They can watch you take out your keys, and they know you'll be opening the door. They can watch you unlock the door and work the handle, and they know what you're doing. But they never think to work the handle themselves. And they probably don't have the thumbs to do it, either. We could probably give them thumbs, but we'd likely get in trouble with the other animals for that. This is scaring the piss out of me. Why is this stuff coming to me?

| Sooo, not animal vampires in VtM then, crap. But an animal ghoul is still pretty good, imagine a wolf and a vampire hunting the world for eternity together. - Duncan.Oliver wrote:

WTF??, I had never heard of that tale, a bunny vampire that drinks the vegetable's blood, so is it like a terror story in the animal kingdom?
