Adding just the materials and models folders to CE seems to be safe. Sound and maps will most certainly cause troubles. I didn't check the rest yet.

Seems like he added a few posters, which I don't think will appear in game, unless the maps are added. Not really a problem though.

I don't know what those two prostitute models in there are for, since I didn't notice any changes with them in game(although I don't think there are any textures for them, so...)

The posters (at least some of them) still show up. You'll see them in your haven, prince's place, Max's place, and a few others I can think of - so their not entirely map file dependent - I think they replace existing portraits/artwork.

Does anybody have working link on this "Mega-Mod" please?

I don't want any link to this thing publicly posted on this forum. Tess is already accusing me of stealing his bloody porn. Though personally I don't care shit about his rantings, people who get to his site first might get the wrong impression of what CE is about.

I don't like his policy of advertising the thing and then saying: If you want it, you first have to kiss my ass five times... But that is his descision. Though he shouldn't pretend to be surprised that people will try to circumvent his restricted access rules.

Right now even after You make five posts in his board, You will only find out that You cant download the "Mega-Mod" anymore because tessera is upset generally on everybody (except of close ring of old "friends") because nobody came here and wasnt hostile towards this board, when somebody make his link public. I understand that there is a lot of bad blood around it... and well to be honest I partly understand tesseras anger that somebody made his link (which was designated only for his members) public for everyone, that pack is/was huge over one Gb so it propably did hell of a undesired traffic (that would make me angry aswell). In spite of that I dont like the rest of his attitude around this MegaMod, but also I dont know all about this story so I cant judge. But I would like to look for myself on this Mega-Mod so I would really appreciate if anybody could share this mod with me. Thanks

I'm in the same situation as spin. I've heard a lot about this mod and would like to try it but tessera seems to have taken down all their mods. If anybody has a way for me to get a copy I would appreciate it, thanks.

Tess is a tough one to figure out. Banned me once for saying something positive about the largest employer with some of the best wages and benefits in my state (Walmart). That and he has a whole manifesto on why it's a Good Thing(tm) and everyone's civic duty to pirate commercial games...

Anyway, I've still got it (both the mod and the patch - the patch is very good, btw. Changes very little about the game but gets the bugs out)- and he since he never responded to me with anything showing he registered his work with the US Dept of Copyrights, PM me if you want it. And for the record, at the time I 'shared' his mod, he had it in the 'available to everyone' section of his website.

Just to give you fair warning - pictures in Vesuvius are photos of explicit sex acts. I asked him about that: I wouldn't care if my 12 year old daughter (or son if I had one) saw cartoon boobs bouncing around, the pictures though push it over the line in that respect for me, and I'm guessing for a lot of other people too. He didn't see any difference between taking the pasties of the dancers and those pictures. He's convinced that was what Troika wanted the game to be.


I've also got the first part of my personal project - Requiem for Tomorrow, a 2D jRPG style game. Haven't worked on it for a while, but what's done is "done". Need to get back to that, maybe start making some extra money once it's finished  

is there a way to get the mega mod still?
