Hi!
First of all, I'm new here. I'm completely addicted to Bloodlines and the Camarilla Edition kicks some major booty!

Now I know that re-skinning isn't that difficult, but since I'm not that good with Photoshop,
I thought I'd bring up the few little things that bother me.

Malkavians are definitely my clan, I've tried Toreador, Nosferatu and Gangrel, but Malks are just it for me.
I feel at home playing a Malkavian (it's nice to be a murderous psychopath for a change). But here's the
problem: I absolutely loathe some of the female malkavian skins. The light clothing is okay, I do have a
thing for cheerleaders Wink, but then the heavy clothing and the light leather... My girl looks like an extra from
a cheap porn movie. I know Malks are insane and dress like it, but there should be some limit, at least
when it comes to practicality. I mean how would you like getting buckshot on your bare buttocks?
The male malk clothes are a lot more reasonable when it comes to armor, though I'm not too fond of
the biohazard gloves or the colours, but they are merely eccentric and fit the character quite well.

Then a slight problem with the Malkavian male light clothing; as a bodmod-freak myself, the fact that his
nipple piercing is located on the skin next to his nipple is just irritating. Can anything be done about that?

As I've understood it, the Camarilla edition brings more reality to the game and I know you've tinkered with
the skins before, so how about making the malks a bit more real as well? Smile

Malk reskinning was one of the things on my list of things to do in the future. During my leave of absence (more on that later) I will contemplate on how this could be done. Reskinning isn't too bad, re-modeling is near impossible, at least for my meager knowledge.

I will keep you updated when I finalize my return on what can be done for the Malks, your idea is duly noted...

Thanks, that is excellent news! And remodelling is a pain (my boyfriend is a 3D-modeller and a programmer).
It's a shame that Troika bought the engine unfinished, if they had waited (or had more time) and the HL2
engine had been finished, modding would be way easier as I understand it (I've had only one course of programming
so I'm not good, I barely remember how to do a Hello World on C++).

But the Malks definitely need new skins. I think I could pull it off on paper, since I love drawing, but it would just get
too complicated... At the moment I'm working on covering the Malkavian female's butt and changing the color scheme
of the Malkavian male's biohazard suit, but it would be great to have someone more experienced tinker with them a
bit more.

Also, I've noticed a problem with long coats. It seems that very often
(especially when you crouch), a long coat will suddenly fold in a weird
angle and cut through the pc's body. I don't know if it's a problem with
animation or modelling, but it's very possibly unfixable. I've noticed it
with Toreador female clothing and Malkavian male heavy leather armor.

I'm no expert so I have no real idea where the problem is, so maybe
it can be fixed? I just thought I'd bring it up, even though I'm not that
good with programming and such, I am interested in learning.

Hi,

the problem with longcoats is a known fact and not something CE specific. I've noticed it with installations of Wesps unofficial patches only in various versions. So if it could be easily fixed, I presume Wesp would have done it a long time ago.
It's just one of the things you have to accept, as the sometimes stubborn elevators in the Skyline apartments and the Empire Hotel Crying or Very sad

I've only played the game once without the CE and
