 Downtown haven bug

PostSubject: Downtown haven bug   Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:55 am

Playing a Malk - just after LaCroix gives me the new haven i go there, find Heather and all but my PC is not working (not an interact-able object) and Galdjum is nowhere to be found. My best guess is somewhere the trigger for the heaven went off in a bad way or something.

Using Camarilla 1.4 integrated part of Clan Quest Mod 3.0 based on WESP patch 7.9. Even if i'm not using only Camarilla Mod (and thus the bug may be triggered by Clan Quest Mod) ANY sort of help would be greatly appreciated since i would not enjoy starting a new game Sad

edit: PC works just fine now after a second reset of the game. Galdjum/chest where it's supposed to be still mia unfortunately :<

Hm, the skyline pc not working is a well known random bug. Skyline is notorious for things like this. Crying or Very sad
For the galjum, I have no idea. Or did you by any chance select the base patch when installing? I do know that it is there in CE 1.4, but I don't know what happens in CQM. Haven't used it in a rather long time, and never installed the latest version with CE.

Clan Quest Mod with WESP 7.9 plus and Camarilla Mod. I chose a music mod as well as the 2 skin replacements that CQM chooses by defaulted (figured they were more relevant or something). Now unless the music mod is screwing something up, i have 2 theories about this:

1. When i first reached downtown i went to Strauss' chantry as soon as possible to get his quest so i can get it from damsel afterwards. My best guess is that the chest generated there first and some script is preventing it from being generated somewhere else?

2. The apt 3 guard thing screwed something up. Basically the guard in Skyeline has no problems with me going in the basement. He shows up when i steal stuff from apt 3 (the safe), i quietly leave via the air ducts while he's searching for me. The second time i went to skyeline (or 3rd not sure) he respawns at the entrance but he starts shooting me if i try to go in the basement (i don't get why his behaviour changes when i guess he should have done that from the start?).

I'll probably just console in Galdjum since i don't think the chest (or lack thereof) makes me miss anything else. Thanks for your help Smile

Hm, all this sounds very odd, and I'm quite sure it's not caused by CE or the patch alone. But going to the chantry just can't mess up the skyline haven. Those two are completely independent of each other.
Open the console and enter G.Patch_Plus. Does it return 0 or 1?
