Society of Leopold – More Prisoners?

The society doesn't take prisoneers. But they did interrogate weak, sensible, depressed Ash for info on other kindred.. Others wouldn't respond to such torture, so they'd be killes fast enough

maybe the serial killer if the PC lets him go ?

Only the new tfn computer in the hunters states that kent died but it would all depend on precedent choices.. And I don't see zero patient enough to code out so many possibilities, even with just the serial killer (got killed by pc, was let alive by PC, or the PC never bothered with the quest).

Maybe E and Lily with shitloads of Edward twilight references ? Julius if alive after VV ? Cooper if not sent for suicide ? Or.. Maybe even Rosa.
What about Patty and Vandal ? Smart hunters know what ghouls are.

From a mere technical point of view, new dialog is a lot more trouble than coding different dead/alive scenarios for the people.

On the subject of capturing and interrogating, I'd say the thinbloods and the serial killer are worthless to the Society. They probably know a lot less than the hunters have digged up themselves.

Vandal? I can't imagine Therese telling him more than his job to run the bloodbank and get fresh blood for her. I don't know if she has allowed him to sell blood to other vampires, or if that is his personal sidegig.

Patty? Are there really players out there who don't have her killed one way or another? She's so annoying I always want to shut her down first time she opens her mouth.

I usually send Patty to Pisha, though ocasionally I snack on her myself and when playing Salubri I let her live because I was trying to keep my Humanity as high as possible.

I have several subjects that might interest one in your profession, Malkav.

You guys are silly! I in fact liked Fledgling's question so I'm going to answer it.

From a story perspective I think Akeem getting captured on purpose so HE can study THEM is a brilliant idea. I could almost see Akeem and Beckett cooking something up to make that happen. On the technical side of things however remains a much darker look. To get this done professionally we would need Scarecrow's voice using the same recording equipment with the same settings for the additional dialogue. We don't have enough lines to splice up Scarecrow's voice to make new dialogue lines AND unfortunately he's been AFK and MIA for quite some time.

Last time I spoke with him was over a year ago while we were making the Jimmy Reed character and he told me that he no longer had the microphone used for Akeem's voice so I don't think even if he had the time, he could make it sound like the original Akeem.

So, like I said from a storyline perspective it's a great idea, but from a technical perspective I don't think it's possible.

Jimmy Reed is a new TFN NPC who talks on the phone in the arcade down by the pier in 1.1. He is a book vendor but also gives out a new quest for more XP. To start it, speak to Trip at the Pawnshop and ask him about hooking you up with someone who knows how to pick locks and break into computer systems. I won't tell you anymore, you just gotta play it!

Jimmy Reed is probably my favourite new character added by TFN. He's even competing with Fat Larry for being my favourite vendor in the game.

That's a huge compliment to Scarecrow being that he spoke and wrote the dialogue. I had a big hand in fine tuning it to fit in the game well but Scarecrow did a fantastic job! I hope he reads your post, Draggy.

Are you playing version 1.1 or 1.0? Jimmy and Silvia didn't appear in TFN until 1.1. If you broke the masquerade you will definitely get an email from Silvia. For Jimmy, speak to Trip once, exit the dialogue and come back and it will be the first line. Sounds like you're playing 1.0.

Uninstall 1.0 ASAP MAN!!!! 1.1 is far superior with the new content and bug fixes, run as far away from 1.0 as you can!!! You should be able to download the incremental upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1 -OR- simply download the 1.1 Full version and install over your game. No need to uninstall everything.
