Weird Bug

Hi there.

I'm experiencing a bug, but I'd like to explain things, just in case whatever I did could be messing things up or not.

I decided to play a Salubri female character, and, as I could read about changing/adding Disciplines in another thread, I decided to add an extra discipline to my Salubri via the 'clandoc000' file (I added Obfuscate). I started playing and, all of a sudden, I cannot enter The Last Round (which means I can't even play the Dane mission), as it crashes. Could it be that the addition of this extra Discipline is screwing my gameplay somehow or could it be a bug for the Salubri female?

P.S.: I'll try playing Salubri male. If the bug occurs again, then I'll take the extra Discipline off and try again (which means that my question would become a really stupid one, by the way)

As for adding a Discipline, I don't know. As for questions, only the ones left unasked are stupid.

Adding or changing disciplines does no harm, unless it causes a syntax error. And that usually leads to other kinds of trouble than maps not loading.

What exactly is your problem? Map not loading, door locked, no use-icon at all?

Well, the issue is that it loads the Downtown map, it allows me to enter any place in there (be it Venture tower, the Chantry, the Confession, the Empire Hotel, the Skyeline) without any trouble. When I get to try The Last Round, it starts loading and it crashes ('vampire.exe had a malfunction'). I'm running it on Windows 7 64-bit, I installed it over a fresh copy of the game, no patches, and it's the first time it gives me trouble.

Don't worry...as a Setite I have as much reason to hate those Usurpers as you do. They stole their magic from us and try to kill any of us that they see using our magic.

We have about three or four members of the Tremere Inquisition around; and I only have orders and interest to keep one unicorn alive.

As if I couldn't live a life on the run if I wanted to; I stayed out of loyalty and the enjoyment of Sally's company alone; the deal means jack to me since the parts I was promised were granted outside of your influence.

So ye, no need for thanks or any such, but I expect the very least to be enough trust in me not to accuse me of being a sterotype who couldn't tell the truth for the life of me

You Ravnos are the ones good with illusions. I'm just good with bending bodies to how I want them to look. And a few other tricks I've picked up on while I was out.  But I'll see what I can do...
