 Formal Ventrue

After playing Ventrue, I was bit annoyed by it's "informality".
I mean, Ventrue are supposed to be thease magestic, leadership clans! Bluebloods have the clan ability to dominate and all but shouldn't the be a bit more formal?
All the time, no matter what Clan you choose, it's pretty loaded with same dialogoue.
So, the thing I'd like to see, is Ventrue (IF there will be Ventrue Clan) being more formal-language.
Like Brujah being "iching for a fight" like in CE same for Ventrues being "Rich"

If I remember correctly, there actually were some Dev commentary where they did want to give each clan a different way of speaking but because of time cuts they wouldn't be able to do it.

Yeah, what a shame.  Sad 
If only they were managed to "fully complete" the game. All way through you can feel as it was a bit cut off.
As if Engine of the Game was corrupted, broken.

love the idea, if Malkav wants i can try to help with new scripting, since it wont require new VA.
that's if he wants to have TCI put that much effort into the new mod

Not corupted, but Troika had to use the alpha version. And was under constant releasedate pressure from Activision.

Sounds good. Actually the dialog files are built for clan-specific player responses. At least in the instances where you don't have to distinguish the genders. A typical dialog line looks like this:

{line-number}{Text used by everybody unless overwritten by special}{special text for female character}{next line}{condition}{action}{clan specific: Brujah}{Gangrel}{Nosferatu}{Toreador}{Tremere}{Ventrue}{Malkavian}

Usually they put in the male text for female characters again. But it's not necessary, and I've already started to cut it out for better readability of the files. And if you look into the CE dialog files you will see that I also have started adding some clan specific responses, or at least a "less diplomatic" text for Brujah, Gangrel, and Nossies, or a more "civilized" one for Toreador and Ventrue.

If someone is interested in helping with this, please contact me. You can use the CE dialog files, but don't waste time on the files from the \generic\ subdirectory or Jack_tut. These need a complete overhaul anyway.
