You can get nutella in every grocery store in the US. I won't waste my money on that nasty stuff again.

Not true at all. I live in a rather backwards state and even we have nutella and ferrero rocher in every grocery store.

However, the knowledge that a nutella-focused shop exists is definitely a cause for celebration.

Anyway this was just a joke about murika having no taste in food whatsoever, while exposing it with a Nutella shop (because we all know nutella is no nutritive, healthy, and good for you !)

I'll have to agree with joe somewhat. Nutella is good, but it's not better than its competitors. It is also overpriced, overestimated and regarded by the "lol xD" people on the internet as some sort of divine nectar (I'm looking at you, girl with tumblr). But that's the old grumpy me talking, he can't get a joke.

I'm glad that my country is not on your list, but I can always foresee the joke as something regarding football or carnival  

I recall this idea of the court of Portugal fleeing to Brazil, then they went back to Portugal, but Brazilians took one of the princes and said "hey, why go back and stay poor old prince of Portugal, why not become king of sexy Brazil ?".. Or something like that on some video. It made me laugh ^^

Frankly I don't think about football or carnival when I think of Brazil, but I think of bikinis, beaches, bitches and cosmetic surgery


I love Nutella (and Ferrero products in general), but I may tackle maybe three of them a year max.. except when Lyle gets hungry and eats one in one night XD

Nutella does NOT = civilization. (Or civilisation, for the British.) Chocolate-flavored hazelnut butter doesn't appeal to me. It's available at Wal-Mart, which is sort of the opposite of civilized, anyway.

The last was Mauritania in 1981. They wanted to relegalize it recently but I think it failed.
Slavery is still common south of Sahara, in Pakistan, UAE, India, SE Asia... Although in Asia it is more into working girls and boys.
As for Islamic countries, well... Qur'an allows it, people cannot ban it. Even if it was delegalized it still exist. Saudis were infamous for buying black slaves from the janjawid during last war in Darfur. But it was hushed. Murica needs petrol.

I think the gun bans were mostly over the type of weapons that were specifically designed for mass murder.

Most places, armor-piercing ammo is only available to military and police.  The same goes for full auto weapons, although if you have a collector's license you can get around that.

I have no problem with those restrictions.  But the Right to Bear Arms (capitalized) is written into the American Constitution, because of the way Britain tried to disarm the colonies before the Revolutionary War.  It would take a major act of Congress, approved by the President, to change that... and if they make a change that major, many Americans are concerned that they will take away other rights as well: The right to free speech, the right to lawful assembly, the right to a fair trial, etc.  I used to think the NRA (National Rifle Association) was a bunch of gun nuts; and in some cases, I still do.  But they are on the front lines of the battle to stop the government from taking away our rights, one at a time, "For our own good."  That was the logic behind the Patriot Act (a panic reaction to the 9-11 attacks), which eliminated some of the due process that must be followed by law enforcement before they can collect information on citizens.

Ok, I'm ranting now.  But the USA doesn't have a gun problem... we have a violence problem.  People are not teaching their kids self-control, so people who should not have guns are doing crazy stuff, and liberals who believe all guns are 'ee-vil' use that to justify taking away our rights.
