PostSubject: Differences between V1.4 and latests   Sat May 03, 2014 4:44 pm

Hello there.

For a new game, I am wondering whether I go with Clan Quest Mod which includes CE1.4 or just CE Final Edition. Thus, I tried to look for different changelog of the version but couldn't find them. Thus, What have been added in the newer version of the mod beside bug patch?

Welcome newblood.

I'm not good at record keeping. That's the reason why there is no logfile. So I'm not sure either what changes have beenn made between 1.4 and final. If 1.4 was released before TFN 1.0, there is no Akeem quest. And final is based on the 8.5 patch which includes the library. But with the first version of the quest (Andrei again...)
I kwow Burgermeister is working on 3.1, but he seems to have problems merging CE final in. I'll contact hiom this weekend.
So it mostly depends on how fast and often you play vampire, and what your preferences are.
Sorry can't help you any further.

Thanks for the answer. I haven't played in a while. So I will probably try without CQM first. Is Camarilla Edition Final compatible with the last unofficial patch v9?

No. Install VTMB, then CE Final. It contains all necessary patches.

I recall between 1.4 ant 1.6(Final) the differences are that n 1.4 there's no Akheem.
Also, there's no library map and nor all newest changes from UP.

CE Final has UP 8.8 but IIRC, Malkav, you integrated fixes to "make it" become 8.9 anyways.

Nope, I've just looked. CE final has Wesps readme for patch version 8.5. So it is based on that version, maybe containing some fixes intended for 8.6...
