PostSubject: Gamebreaking Bugs in Final Nights 1.2   Fri Jun 06, 2014 7:23 pm

Hi,

I have experienced a few gamebreakers - all of the same kind.

A lot of Quests and unique dialogues were repeatable. For example when talking to Bertram after Grouts Mansion the game sends me directly to the Sabbat warehouse to blow it up again.

And when reaching the final room in the museum Beckett starts the same Dialogue as after the warehouse explosion. Therefore I cannot finish an important main quest and I am stuck.

Reloading did not help.

I own the DRM free Version from emudot und don#t use other mods.


I'd like to finish the Final Nights, so please help me.

Looks like a messed up dialogue file... Have you tried to reinstall/redownload?

Hi,

thank your for the quick answer. I try it today and report afterwards.

Usually I install the german language. Would it help to install in english from the beginning?

you caaaaan't install a language pack over the mod, or even under the mod, because language dialogue files have all sorts of info (quest giving and else). And files do not merge, they overwrite each other

I see, an complete english reinstall seemed to solve the problem.

Sorry Baali, as Claudia said those dialogue files contain A LOT of game data, not just dialogue.
