Okay, so I stumbled upon a couple of glitches. Don't know if they were posted elsewhere. I dug through a decent number, but not all of the posts, so, if this has already been seen, my apologies.

First off, in the Museum, in the room past the red-tinted room where you grab the key off of the counter, there's a computer that you can get on. It's the one that has "E-mails" and "Sales" being the two options. I was stealthed and hacking this computer, and a guard that was in the main area(so it was outside of a wall and a closed door, neither of which have windows) somehow saw me, shouted "Hold it!", started firing at the wall(couldn't hit me, thankfully), and I had a big ol' exclamation mark for being spotted(being spotted should have been impossible, as I focused stealth like crazy(and cheated a little because I was curious about some locations of things) and had an effective stealth rating of 10. In order to make him stop, I had to go over, open the door, and back away into the shadows, he came in, looked around, and left.

Second glitch I found was with a conversation with Jack. It was after killing off all of the Sabbat in the hotel and after the conversation with Ming-Xiao but before talking to the douche... I mean LaCroix... and I went over to the Last Round. When I spoke to Jack, I ended up with the first conversation you have with him upon arriving in Downtown after you blow up the warehouse.

Final thing, I know I saw something posted somewhere about there being an Occult item located in every Hub if you have Inspection of 9 or 10. I was curious about what was where, and, admittedly, did the increased experience cheat to have Inspection of 10. I found the Occult items in all of the other Hubs, as well as the next armor and a variety of weapons and blood bags, but I was never able to find one in Santa Monica. IS there one there, or did I just somehow miss it?

Dracnoir,

1.) The museum glitch you ran into I believe is a simple AI bug. Somehow the guard detected you when he clearly should not have. The only potential fix would be the identify which guard that is and turn down his hearing and/or sight. This would be a pain to figure out but understand that issues like these can break immersion pretty quickly. The old Source engine didn't handle AI very well.

2.) I'm not sure why Jack's dialogue didn't trigger the next flag in the storyline but instead reverted back to an old dialogue. I'm planning on firing up TFN 1.2 and having a playthrough so I'll look out for this. I've seen this before but thought I fixed it.

3.) The Occult item in the SM_Hub is the Weekapaug Thistle. It adds a permanent +1 Defense to the character while being worn. I honestly don't know where it is but I would check obscure places like around the oil drums where Bertram is or down alleyways where you never go. I'm sure I hid it pretty well because it's such an important find. But it's definitely there. Could be outside of the Junkyard or even down one of the small sewer tunnels.

To my knowledge, I looked everywhere.  Checked through all of the sewers, all of the alleys, between all of the cars, circled Tung's place 2 or 3 times just to make sure, double-checked inside the first fence where the Gangrel is that kills all of the people...  I just can't think of anyplace else.  I know I've found various weaponry and blood bags as well as all of the other occult items and all of the upgraded armor.  Now that I know what to look for, I'll do another run through to see if I can locate it.  Thank you for checking this stuff.  It's greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I LOVE that the Salubri gets the chance to heal Heather and Tin Can Bill using Obeah.  I didn't see an option like that for the lady on the 6th floor who sends you after Jezebel Locke, but that was still an awesome addition.  Keep up the good work, everybody.

Wow... Found it... I feel like an idiot... Follow the road that leads past Arthur Kilpatrick's to the dead end where the tunnel would take you to another place if the engine were built that way, and it's hidden in a corner back there... Bloody idiot... Another question regarding artifacts: Was the artifact that increases your Dexterity by 1 taken out? I haven't found it anywhere. Just curious, as it's one of my favorites. Have a good one.

Yeah, the Obeah dialogue options turned out nicely. I know you can heal Mercurio, Heather, Tin Can Bill, Hannah (Jezebel's infected), and Ash, which nets you an additional 5 XP total. Not sure why you didn't see Hannah as an option.

The artifact that affects Dexterity was taken out to make room for additional items. Sorry. Sad

Forgot to list Mercurio and Ash when I was listing them. Freaking epic how all that is set up. And, it really makes sense. Only Masquerade violation I had was healing Tin Can Bill. Startled me when some dude with a knife attacked me in an alley.

Who was the dude who attacked you with a knife? Was it a hunter I assume? Malkav came up with a neat little script that I haven't implemented yet where it checks to see your current location to make sure hunters don't spawn instantly because of a Masquerade Violation. It works wonderfully but at the same time I kind of like the feeling that hunters may or may not be watching me in secret because they suspect that I'm a Kindred. Then I do something to violate the masquerade and they come out of hiding and begin trouncing on me, once I've confirmed their question. At least, that's how I always justified the instant attack. I dunno, just my thoughts.

Thanks for the kudos. Did you get a Masquerade Violation for Tin Can Bill only? But not the other people you healed? Obviously you wouldn't get a Violation for Mercurio but I'd think you would get a Violation for healing the kine.

Yeah, it was a hunter. Tin Can Bill was the only Kine that I healed. Made Heather my Ghoul. Mercurio and Ash were both okay for no Masquerade violations. Freaking hunters. Then, the only other Masquerade violation I get is because of one of the quests, and a freaking hunter starts shooting a crossbow at me in an alley... I figured they would just stay in the alley. Nope. Shot at me a couple of times before I could make it to the chick you can bribe to stop the violations out of the alley. Nobody called the cops, and no cops made any moves against the hunter... Bloody hunters... Grrr... Wink

Seriously, though, freaking amusing.

Maybe I should incorporate that script, if I can even find it. I still like getting attacked randomly and sometimes immediately after violating the Masquerade. Keeps me on my toes and nervous.

Oh, I don't mind it. I think it's nifty. I just thought it was bizarre that somebody with a weapon is moving down Main Street in Santa Monica with a ranged weapon out and nobody says or does a thing.

Maybe he had it concealed? I dunno, I guess we can only make it so realistic and at some point we have to use our imaginations to fill in the holes that don't make sense. Realism vs. Nit Picking, LOL, always tough finding the balance between the two.

Yep, that's why my characters usually don't use anything larger than the colt anaconda or the uzi before the society.
The other reason is that I consider most of the large weapons useless. Ok, shotguns deal a lot of damage, but they are slow and inaccurate.

well, you should probably stop saying "Ninja..." afterwards. If that gets out at a Gather it may take some time to live that down. Unlive that down? hmm.

See, I'm a Mangrel, a Malkavian-Gangrel hybrid, myself. And that doesn't make you a poor Gangrel. You have to remember, Gangrel are about survival, especially the standard Paths that they end up following once they leave their Humanity behind. Sneaking up on a foe and taking it down when there's a risk of harm coming to you is standard intelligent survival.

Yeah... I see your point about scaring off the prey... I also agree about Celerity being your sneakiness. A number of times, I've used Celerity 5 while crouched to "run" up behind a target, stealth kill, "run" up to the next, stealth kill, and then get a third, all before anybody can respond.
