Any idea how I can force the game to update the stat checks without forcing the game to save?

You mean like when you first create your character and Jack checks your stats to make sure you aren't cheating?

No, I mean when I check the bloodpool for the bloodtimer or additional frenzy checks. Or with my version of Akeem's books if the ability has changed between buying and reading the book. That kind of thing.

Funny thing is, I have made some experiments with the bloodtimer. It seems like scripted stat changes are recognized immediately, but manual changes not. Or some stats are recognized and others not, because when I have scripted the character creation dialog, changes made with bumpstat don't show.

And the Jack-check cannot be altered and used in any way? Make him check for bloodpool and other things, then use it later?
