Zer0, did you change the exit point after dealing with Andrei? Or was it a bug that I came out in the alley where I started. If it was intended, I don't think it is a good idea because I could see the lift going up.

When you exited Andrei's room, you were at street level in the alley and the lift was up in the air?

I noticed this as well, the lift was going up.

Maybe Cretino and I are crazy but I thought it was always like that also. I don't remember coming out the front door for this. I'd have to play the Hallowbrook again to be sure, but I know I never changed the teleport location.

The player used to exit into the street. and in my save game for 1.4 it is the alley.
I checked the change log and Zer0 changed it in 1.2
In the change log for 1.2 Zer0 states this.

- Moved Ming's conversation in alley near Bradbury Hotel

Ah I understand now, it makes no sense to leave the alley after the fight. Plus you get to see the elevator going up, which is already all the way to the top (if you left by the front door, that is).

You are right it should be the front door, because if you think about it. You have to fight your way down.

I moved the conversation yes, but not the exit point after leaving the Hallowbrook.

Very strange in the Camarilla mod and Wesps patch you enter by the lift and exit through the door on to the street. In TFN 1.3 the alley. Does not affect the game in any way thought.

Good to hear. It's possible that I moved the exit to the alley after I made the Samedi Masquerade System to avoid an instant Criminal Violation on leaving the Hallowbrook, and then I forgot I did that. I know I moved the conversation with Ming to the alley because talking on the sidewalk was getting the Samedi caught and that isn't fair to the player.

Either way, leaving via the front door or alley way doesn't matter except the alleyway makes more sense for the Samedi.

But that means you have fought through the hotel with more than light speed because when you exit you can see yourself riding the elevator up. Laughing
So Zer0 must make another change: When the player kills Andrei, Dr McCoy turns up and says: "He's dead, Jim." bounce

It's all about the lift inconsistency. If after leaving Hallowbrook hotel it wasn't there, there would be no complaints as well,
