Edgars Safe wont open

I am doing the quest to kill some vamp hunters in downtown i went in wasted them saw the pw for the safe and i cant seem to open it, there is a computer there but it doesn't seem to be on so i cant just hack it or use the pw I am stuck getting this book </3

Is the a console command to spawn me the book? i tried peeking through the safe with noclip but i cant see it.

lol wut the computer is supposed to be on! So you can type in the password to unlock the safe... Strange.

yeah its REALLY weird I tried everything </3 worse off he didn't drop anything when i killed him and the chick downstairs didn't drop a crossbow I loaded game like 4x and tried it from farther back each time to no avail.

Cretino's right, the computer should be turned on as it's the only way to unlock the safe, it's electronically locked by the computer. If the computer is off there won't be a way to get it.

Open up the console and type in "give item_g_wireless_camera_4" without the quotations of course. That will at least give you the book so you can complete the quest. This is definitely not a bug with TFN but rather one of those weird one off glitches.

Wow, everything is off there then?
Test this, go on the other apartments, or on the basement floor, and see if any of the computers are working.

Did you try the computer in the bedroom? The other one is the working one.

The computer in the basement is working i read through the creepy emails about the security guard spying on the tennants then killed his ass well i assumed they were the guard xD The console command worked so i finished the quest I appreciate the help!

Good to hear. Actually you never meet the voyeur, you only read his emails. The guard was placed by Wesp I believe and isn't the voyeur guy.

Glad the console command worked and you can continue, pesky one time glitches are a pain but it happens on occasion. Just wait until all your fish in the fish tank are replaced by toasters and the door knobs turn into fish, lol.

I had one when i installed the mod wrong and tried to pop the companion mod over it all the breasts in the game were inflated so huge that you couldn't walk outside the alley outside your apartment it was pretty funny xD

That was intentional..... HAHA just kidding!

Oh. The money cheat. Haven't heard about that in quite some time.
