First of all: thanks for the great 1.4 version of TFN.

Now to my actual question: I still love playing the CE-Version of the game, mostly because of the classic clans. Due to the fact that I prefer the Presence mechanics of TFN 1.4 I wondered which files I would have to modify in order to get the same mechanics working in CE.

I've already modified/copied the Presence parts of the clandoc (changed the "use Presence in dialogue" lines), disciplinetg03 and stats files but the game is still using the old CE mechanics.
Can you guys help me so that I get it working the way I'd like to? Smile

It would require a lot of modifications. You would need to modify every map in the game that has an NPC you can talk too. You would also have to modify many in-game items which would remove them from CE, so you'd be losing out on things like the poster quests. You would need to modify trait effects and do some python coding as well. It's much too complicated to explain step by step and would take much work on my part to break it down. Sorry. Sad

Okay, good to know. I obviously underestimated the effort which was required to implement that specific feature Smile

You're welcome, Phil. And I apologize for not offering more. Your best bet would be to reverse engineer it and if you decide to do that, I'll help out where I can, as long as I'm not writing a step-by-step how to. I just finished the game manual which took 1 year for 60+ pages and I'm burnt out on instructionals, lol.
