This was changed to avoid a bug with the fists using the fang, where the fists would keep duplicating themselves. Changing areas requiring you to reselect your weapon is a vanilla bug, not a TFN one.

duplicating,i don't know what you mean

yes i lose the weapon when i enter and area where weapons are not allowed but with normal weapons i can bind them to a number in the K menu.

I have a weapon
i enter an area where weapons are not allowed and i lose fists
I go back to the street
Even without selecting any weapon, when i click the attack button i use the last weapon selected before entering the "no weapon" area.

With Fang it doesn't work,i have to select them with F1 menu

That makes sense because of how it was scripted to work. You see, the fists given to you when you have the Fang of Vukodlak aren't registered as real weapons, so I had to remove them entirely when walking into Elysium, otherwise you could attack people in Elysium. So when you leave an Elysium area, they are restored to you but won't be your "readied" weapon.

Best thing to do is to hotkey your fists of Vukodlak so you can ready them quickly.
