Anyway 64-bit? 1920x1080?
Whatever the case I saw a bunch of people complain about it and say that was the problem, I donno what the fuck causes it or how to solve it, tried multiple solutions that didn't work. And I can't change the resolution as it won't launch, the only thing I can do is fuck around with properties and that still didn't solve it when I set it to launch at 640x480 res. If any of you have ideas, feel free to enlighten me.

In my stupidity I didn't check the anti-virus. It was that thing blocking the application all along. Problem solved at least, yay me What a Face

I get the good intent behind quotas, but they're a temporary measure at best until society gets over whatever prejudice lead to people who deserved a position based on merit getting ignored. And they always risk causing the exact problem they're meant to prevent. So basically when assigning quotas you hope that the number of cases where they lead to people of merit getting a position despite prejudices outnumbers the number of cases where the quota does the exact opposite.

So if you're going to go there, you'd better have good statistical data to back it up.

The problem is such data is highly sensitive and not even legal to collect in some countries. RODO in Poland made it much harder...
