E books are just as viable as printed books...even better...as they don't use any paper and are virtually with no expense to reproduce

Paper production is good for forests because you consume small bits and pieces to produce paper and it leaves space for the trees to grow bigger. Often paper factory will reuse cuts from let's say a furniture fabrics and that kind of things. What is problematic though is the whiteness of the paper, this produce nasty waste heavily charged in chemicals. So paper production yes, if only we could accept it is not so white and more brownish.

E books are nice but don't remunerate their writers...

So do I. I own a couple shelves full of OWoD material, but I can't afford to buy everything in print, especially since some of it costs much more than its original price. (Collector's items my @$$) I have a lot more in PDF format, on my computer... it's much cheaper to buy the PDF from DriveThruRPG.com, or other sites [sometimes a LOT cheaper (cough, cough)].
Between printed and electronic format, I have 220 titles... and that's not counting all of the novels set in the OWoD. And yes, I've read it all. I didn't treat everything White Wolf printed as gospel; some of it got changed, or ignored totally. But I enjoyed reading it. <---- definite
