PostSubject: Game crash   Mon Oct 11, 2010 4:23 pm

I've been encountering some game crashes every now and then. They seem to be related to a particular situation, most often while reloading a game or entering another map.

This particular crash occured when leaving the ventrue tower just after the first visit to LaCroix. I've saved just before leaving the tower and the same happens every time I try to leave. Here's the log:

Wish I could help more, but not really familiar at all with the engine and it's workings regarding Bloodlines, Zer0, Malkav, or Philosopher can probably give you more help. However, that seems to be a LOT of system resources being used during your session, you might be running out of ram. Try using this utility and see if it helps any at all

While it probably is not going to solve your crash, it may help in giving you smoother game play with a few more frames per sec and free up some resources, which might result in LESS crashes. I've used this utility for quite awhile now with no ill effects, and it won't install anything unknown / unwanted on your PC.

Hope that helps some!

Thanks for you input, Maximus. I'm sure I'll find that program handy in time, but it didn't solve the issue.

I might aswell try reinstalling it fresh.

I have tried the same game saves on a fresh CE 1.4 install. Everything works fine. I must have messed something up with the sound/scheme files.

Fixed before I had a chance to respond, the best kind of problem! Wink

Thanks for the post Max, I may have to check out that program.
