| I was wondering if there is anything like a Mod Manager for VTM: Bloodlines? There are many mods out there that I'd like to try, but I'm unsure how I'd go about getting rid of one and installing another? What do you think? Can there be some kind of program that activates one mod and deactivates another? That type of thing? Thanks. BTW, This mod looks AWESOME. | |

| The problem with bloodlines is that files overwritte eachother. You can't just "uninstall a mod" :/ To be able to play several mods, you have to install various times the game, and play with one game+CE, one game + CQM, one + companion... with three different lunch buttons and three different installs on your hd | |

| In theory you could do it with batch files (.bat) to replace and rename files every time you launched the game.
(I did this for Thief 3 as you needed alternative files for the game to the builder, but otherwise only needed one install)
It would be a pain in the arse to code and you would have to be very thorough and clear with what you needed to do to make it work. Would take a lot of effort for each mod as well as the plain installation but would overall save a bit of space.
Easiest way is to simply find a guide for multiple installations though.

| I think multiple installations would be the easiest way to have multiple mods readily accessible. I personally would go that route, then again why would you want to play anything other than CE? LMAO! | |

Hey Zer0, what will you say on that when TFN gets out? Well back to the topic, I agree with Zer0, multiple installations is the way I'd go too. There are some mods that try to combine different mods. Clan Quest has a selective installer, and there is the compilation by Drathian on PV. The problem with these compilations is that the authors have to upgrade (if fact more or less start from scratch) for every new release of a mod. So, mostly it's not done because it takes a lot of time, the authors need for their own mod. -
