You were right about that, I went through and fixed alot of issues with the Hatter/Julius quest. This was one of the fixes... now if you mug him of his $100 but let him go, you will gain/lose no Humanity, it evens out. Below is as follows...

Let Julius go, do not mug him - Gain 1 Humanity, Masquerade Violation
Let Julius go, but mug him - No Humanity change, Masquerade Violation
Kill Julius - Lose 1 Humanity, Masquerade Redemption


So regardless of the choices you make, you will suffer some sort of penalty but will gain something in return. Either you gain Humanity, a Masquerade Redemption, or $100.... but on the flipside you will also lose something as well. As the player, the choice is yours... which is what Roleplaying is ALL about... choices. Smile
