First, I want to say thanks to everyone testing this mod. I tested for the Clan Quest Mod the first time around and I know it is a lot of work (fun work, but still). Some people are better at it than others too (I don't think I was very good) Smile

But it looks like you guys are catching all KINDS of issues and that will make for an excellent end product.

My question is, at this rate, when do you think a public beta might appear?

Originally, they were shooting for an end-of-year release. Haven't heard anything different; although with all of the issues (and with the holidays, etc.) I would not be surprised to see that pushed back a bit. I'm almost hoping it is a little later; Zer0Morph was getting a little burned out just before the beta release, and we want to keep him happy. Smile

(As well as Mrs. Morph... she might get a little annoyed if he made her do all the Christmas stuff alone.) santa

No rush! Heck, I've been waiting for a Torchlight Mod for over 1 year now. The original developer got side tracked by work and is now back on it. Smile

Mrs. Morph, HAHA I LOLed when I read that!

Truth is Tuishimi, PGM's right that I am/was burnt out on modding just before the Beta release. The past week I've gotten a bit of that spark back and still not a day goes by that I don't dedicate some time to it. About a week ago I was looking at all of the vendors, what they sell, how much their selling it for, and figuring out how all of that ties into the new Haggle System for TFN. To make a long story short, things aren't adding up well in the end between my new Haggle System and the Troika made vendors and weapons.

So, basically this past week I've spent tweaking ALL of the weapons, ammunition, stats of the weapons, and have begun remaking alot of them, reskinning them, adding new sound FXs, re-pricing them, etc... This wasn't something I was originally planning on doing but to truly make the Haggle System work with the Monetary System, alot of things had to be remade almost from scratch.

What does that leave us with when your done? Well, basically brand new weapons, new skins, sound FXs, prices, stats such as damage, range, rate of fire, bullet types (for ranged), etc... I will be posting a full spreadsheet on all of the new weapons and every ounce of detail for each weapon stat once I finish it up. It's going to be my next "BIG" presentation!
