(Fixed) No cops outside of Diner Quest

I spent about 2 hours this weekend trying to fix this... without success. I got it so the police sirens and the megaphone guy calls out, but alas when you go outside it's nothing but crickets chirping. Now what's weird is if you kill an innocent, the police come right away but I still can't find the trigger to make that happen.

So... as what I always do, when something is broken and I can't fix it... I remove it. So as of right now, no police will be called during the Diner fight... but will still be called during the non-combat diner if an innocent is killed.

I know what the problem is, since I've had it happen to me. When I am being shot at by the thugs, if all of them have shot at me BEFORE I do anything to them, the game treats it as self defense...I did nothing wrong. But, if I take action Before ALL of them has fired at me, then it is treated as a criminal violation. Hope this helps.

Really, that would make sense because when you attack any innocence, the police get summoned then too. I wonder how we can make that work... and even better I'd like to know what controls the police being outside in the first place. I now wonder if the key isn't in the diner map, but the SM map instead. I already checked the python files and couldn't find anything.

I'll take a look at the Python Files too. just to see if I might spot something. Plus I'll wrack my Malk brain to see if I can think of any way around it.There has to be a way to change it. I'd like to try to change it to where, if one thug shoots at me, then it's "Bear Season" (to quote my fem Malk)!!

By moving the thugs to the other side of the room, this fixed the issue with the cops not appearing outside, YAY!
