| English title (and IMDB link): Let the Right One In.
Fantastic movie. It is clear how things will turn out right from the beginning. One is pleased by the artistry by which it does so. |

| I've never heard of it, is it an American film or is it even in English?
I was reading about the history of Vampire Lore and man that stuff dated WAAY back in Eastern Europe as far back as the 1500s. Except Vampires didn't have fangs and weren't pale back then, apparently Bram Stoker's Dracula novel in the 1890s is what brought that whole lore on. |

| The Balkan peninsula (where am I from), is quite rich on vampire, werewolf and that kind of creatures lore. Though Bram Stoker's Dracula isn't the first myth about vampires, it is still a classic. |

| I don't know much about Europe as I've never been there but it's fascinating the history of how Europe came to be. We studied that stuff in World History but I've forgotten alot of it by now lol. |

I would love to visit Sweden and Germany for that matter. My ancestors are German on both sides of my family, they took a boat many many years ago to the United States and I would love to see where we originated from. Since I don't speak a lick of German maybe visiting England would be a better way to go, HAHA! Hell Europe is so small I could probably visit them all. |

| Er, Europe is bigger than the US...
German is an easy language to learn as english is mostly derived from it anyway. |

HAHA are you insane? The United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) is 9,161,923 km2 in size vs. the entire European Union is 3,788,027 km2. In other words, the United States is almost 2 1/2 times larger than Europe. In fact both Germany and France (alone) are smaller than the state of Texas. You guys...... are tiny! |

| If you're going by European Union - that is not the same as Europe. If you're going to exclude a few countries, then sure, you're bigger Europe is over 3,900,000 square miles, with 50 countries, a hell of a lot of languages, in some places you can travel five miles and feel your on another planet! The United Sates of America is almost 3,800,000 square miles, with fewer languages and more unified culturally due to the rate of exploration of settlement than Europe. |

| I will agree that America is the fattest nation in the world, it's pathetic. Not me personally because I go to the gym 4 days a week and keep in good shape, but yes going to a grocery store is like walking around a cow farm, everyone is obese it's disgusting.
I apologize for hijacking your thread zombisen... |

| The final climax of that movie was extremely satisfying. Our remake won't hold a candle to the pervasive sense of emotional implosion displayed in every character in varying degrees throughout the film. The corners of everyone's mouth were stuck downturned as a consequence of the monotonus, white-washed, naturally imposed, frozen drudgery that was their existence. Even the malice of the murderer and the bully boy was soaked in desperation. They were just trying to be noticed at the expense of everyone around them, including the main character. The setting was a metaphor for the interior of the vampire girl and the little boy. That's why they took a train ride. The train ride is the possibility of finding a sunnier place to be. Makes me glad I've only been to Minnesota just before winter hits for six whole months. Without a woman to keep me warm I'd go crazy. The only other option is to be warmed by the liquor bottle, but since my girly voice impressions are horrendous, I wouldn't believe a single, "I love you." from the bottle if I tried. And besides, the mouth of the bottle is always way too small. |
