(Not a bug) Beckett & Scholarship

Your Scholarship is too high. Beckett will only teach you Scholarship if yours is at 1 or 2. If you have Scholarship 3 or higher then you already know too much.

Then Childe changed it in CE, where you receive it no matter your current Scholarship. Just saying.
Perhaps you'd like to change Finance with Fat Larry as well?

I just took a look at how Fat Larry’s Finance system is setup and it shows that the discount depends on if you have Intimidate or Persuasion of 5. If you do, then you can get the Finance bump regardless of your current Finance score. The reason Troika did it that way was because Fat Larry promises you a discount if you Intimidate or Persuade him, it’s not conditional like for Beckett, it’s certain you will get the discount. For this reason it has to remain how it is now.

So… if you have Persuade or Intimidate at 5 or higher, you get a FREE Finance bump.

(I would prefer it be conditional like for Beckett, but the way the dialogue is structured, Fat Larry promises the discount)

Vanilla and the base patch limit scholarship from Beckett to 1 or 2, same as the limit on Nines' brawl bonus.
The plus patch has increased that, so you can get a free point when you have 1 to 3; and for CE I have removed the limit.

While we're at it, Nines gives you 1st or 2nd dot in brawl/melee, right? Or he can give you even 3rd??

For brawl you get the free slot if your current level is one or two. So you can get the third dot max.
For melee there is no limit. At least that's how it is handled in vanilla, the patches, and CE. Can't tell you if TFN changed that.
