Losing Humanity after breaking into Bertram's haven

Is there supposed to be a Humanity loss if you try to hack Bertram's computer? I hadn't done that in a few games, so I made my way into the oil tank and gave it a shot. My hacking feat was too low, so I left, and as I did, I lost Humanity.

I reloaded and tried four times. Here's what happened.

First time: Got as far as the corner by Foxy Boxes.
Second time: Lost it as I passed Bertram's gate.
Third time: Just into the parking garage.
Fourth time: Quite a bit further, I think almost to the beach? I just know it took several more moments than on my earlier tries.

I even broke in and left, then went back and hacked and left again. It's definitely the hacking that causes it.

I thought at first it was that I was low on blood, but it turned out to not make a difference (didn't make sense anyway).

The only thing I can think of would be if you were Ishtarri and you were below 5 blood. What clan are you?

AH HA HA. Yes. About that.

Just realized it now. I feel PROFOUNDLY stupid.

However, I DID lose it once after I gave myself full blood, but with all the reloading, it is perfectly possible that the Humanity Lost notification was simply a leftover from the previous load.

Most of my problems have come from boneheaded-ness. I apologize.

Don't feel bad, Ishtarri aren't the brightest clan, LOL.

Don't have to tell me! Already starting over with a Baali, as I didn't get to try it out as much as I would have liked (had to reinstall). I think the Ishtarri vanity sort of got to me, I feel kind of woozy.
