| Ok, I know it is a poor place to post my question, but does anyone know where to find a download of Vampire the Masquerade Clan Novel 3 Gangrel? I have been googling everywhere and found nothing. Thanks in advance. | |

| Ahem... I have the clan novel series in print, but I don't know where you could find it to download... rpg.drivethrustuff.com has the whole clan novel series for download, but it's kind of expensive ($43 U.S.). Also, it's all 13 novels in chronological order; so while you get the whole story, it jumps around a lot -- even more than the normal novels did. You can find a used copy of the Gangrel - Clan novel pretty cheap on Amazon.com; but whether they ship to Poland I don't know. I see just about every novel except Gangrel on a few download sites, but I assume you already have those. Not sure why the Gangrel novel is so hard to find. (cough) Of course, I would never recommend downloading from a torrent site, because those are illegal. There do seem to be several sites that have it, though. | |

| Thanks people... Basically I was there already. DrivethrouRPG has all clan novels except Gangrel. I bought Tzimisce clan novel and" the Beast Within" last week there. But what you said, PGM, everything but Gangrel everywhere... I even looked up free download sitesin desperation... I feel my Clan is discriminated Oddly Dark Ages Clan Novel Gangrel pops up everywhere. I tried Amazon, well, they don't send to Poland from the US. | |

| What Childe said -- Amazon.co.uk has it cheap, and they ship to Poland, although the shipping is more than the book. Still, it doesn't look too expensive. I have digital copies of most of my printed books, because it's quicker to look up something in a PDF copy. But the clan novels are an exception (otherwise I'd email you a copy... sorry). I tried reading the Clan Saga version, where it's all in chronological order, and it's too jumbled. I like to hold books in my hands, anyway. Can't take my desktop into the bathroom.* *[And no, I'm not buying a Kindle, Nook, etc.. I refuse to buy a digital copy that the bookstore or publisher can edit or remove at their whim. If I buy something, it's mine, dammit. They all say they won't do it, but they still have the capability, as a 'security measure against pirating.' Friggin big brother... Plus, I would want to DL a copy to my computer, in case the Kindle dies; and they don't let you do that... except to another reader.] | |

| Wait, once you buy a book on a Kindle or Nook you can ONLY read it on the Kindle or Nook? You can't put it on your computer or print it out? That's so lame. Glad I never bought one. | |

| You can download a Kindle app to allow your PC (or Mac, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, etc.) to 'borrow' the Kindle book -- once -- for up to 14 days. This is not the same as keeping a backup copy on your PC. I can understand their concerns about piracy, but if I buy a book, I want to be able to read it when and how I want to, and keep a backup copy if I want to.
Amazon should do it like DriveThruRPG does, when they sell a digital copy of a game. They should put a little 'watermark' on your copy of the book, so that if people upload it to some file-sharing site the publisher will be able to identify who did it. This is reasonable. I have pdf copies of a lot of White Wolf game books, and I can put them on any device that reads Adobe pdf files. | |
