| http://www.sudouest.fr/2012/02/05/5-a-10-cm-de-neige-attendus-625417-757.php You'll see a few pictures here of Bordeaux this morning (February 5th, 2012). I know for some of you it seems like nothing, nice lols and everything, but these 3cm (One inch) of snow were enough to stop all tramways and etc. I lol'd, because I did all my shopping on Friday and I do plan on staying home all day | |

| Bordeaux's not used to the snow (Atlantic sea + golf stream = usually no snow) | |

| Why is Europe getting the winter that North America was SUPPOSED to have? It's freaking 55 degrees out here, we have people playing golf in January!!! Warm winter means more bugs in the summer, specifically spiders. This fall is going to suck when it gets cold and massive armies of arachnids come marching into our homes.... ::Shivers just thinking about the creepy crawlies:: | |

| First real frost here for this winter. Temperatures went strait down from about +5 to -15 yesterday. Luckily no snow to speak of yet. But do we really have to start the whole spider discussion all over again? If you want creepy crawlers, go to the warrens... - | |

| Spread fresh, frozen and cleaned insects on paper towels on a cookie sheet. Bake at 200° for 1-2 hours until desired state of dryness is reached. Check state of dryness by attempting to crush insect with spoon. | |
