| No matter how I play my steps to discover Paul's body on the floor, playing her message doesn't get me to the sixth floor to investigate her relationship to Paul (the anarch ghoul). Every button in the elevator will work except 6. This issue is found only in TFN 1.1 as far as I know. | |

| I'm pretty sure the vent is locked to Hannah's apartment too so you have to go through the front door. That is so strange. Do you know how to activate the game console? If so press the ` key and open the console and type in noclip. That will allow you to walk through walls. Try that as a temporary work around so you can continue your game. | |

| I thought the vent leading to upstairs is locked, Claudia, it's not? I'll check it out cause I thought it was locked. | |

| It unlocks once you get the Paul quest, if I recall correctly
(not that I play nossie often... I know there's a way around it for them)

It's possible that this bug is not predictable. I saw on youtube someone was playing TFN 1.0 and every door knob in skyline was a safe . I didn't have that problem when I played it but he did. LOL

| I had no problems with the elevator button in testing. Doorknobs or other items turning into something funny is a well known random bug, and not limited to a particular mod. - | |

- Weird doors was not something I ran into in any mod yet. Over all, bugs don't bother me with this game no matter what they are. I remember some of the original bugs with the game and the lagging that went on but I made it through all the way to Chinatown with little problem. That was about six years ago. The only way I could play the game was through first person view or else the whole thing would freeze up. Especially in HUBS.

| So I stopped playing as a Baali and switched to my girl, the Osebo. She and I have had no trouble getting in and out of Hannah's Apartment so there's no doubt it was just a random glitch I encountered as Baali. Also I notice that Nines is a lot nicer to her than male characters. I like Nines but I still think he's full of it as much as any other group in the game. Anarch's and Cammy's are all the same. Everyone wants to have the power to dish out orders and get their agenda pushed to the top. I'm a lone wolf in these final nights :0) | |

It had to be a random glitch because I'm playing as a Baali & didn't encounter than bug. On my way to Chinatown without any bugs till now what so ever.

I'm pretty sure that these kinds of problems goes from computer to computer. For example I had a similar problem on my Baali in 1.0 when I couldn't reach my haven in Skyline Apartments because the elevator didn't work and a box I couldn't move blocked the vents. Which was on my old computer. On my new one everything in-game (so far) works smoother than warm butter, but on the other hand the intro ads with the "Team Camarilla" logo and whatnot are sound-only.

Yeah I had a bug in the original game where Brother Kanker would talk in circles instead of fighting me. I'd have to reload back to the sewer entrance 2 or 3 times before he'd let me fight him. LOL It didn't happen all the time. Just on occasion. It's possible that because I took on Akeem's quest before I investigated Paul's place that it shut me out of the sixth floor. This time, I waited til I left Hannah's place before I approached Akeem about his business. It's hard to tell how to avoid that kind of bug, but hey it's part of the fun of playing :0)

| Hm, the problem with the intro logos not working seems to be quite common with new computers. The order in which you do the quests in skyline shouldn't be relevant. Usually I tend to get every quest to do in there before I go in, and then work my way up floor by floor. And apart from the occasional ground floor elevator button bug, I never had any accessibility troubles whatsoever. And for me, the elevator bug usually turned up only after the museum. Oh, btw, a bit of fun you can have with noclip: use it in the elevator, and then press the button for another level... Or go into the downtown sewers, noclip, and then go down. If you go far enough, you will get a nice air view of the city... - | |

- LOL Thanks. I will definitely try that. I like the Grout Mansion's walkway on the roof. I always check out the view before I get back to the blood bath :0)

So your studies go at a languid pace. That explains why you're still an Igor, and not a Mad Doctor. And I think the view from the tram is the only good part of the whole Griffith Park quest... -
