| Dragatus and Buzzsaw brought to my attention the lack of consistency with the new name "The Sunrise Diner". I took a look at Lilly's Diary, Therese's dialogue and the newscaster's dialogue and sure enough, they were right. So yesterday and today I went through and removed the word "Surfside" out of the text and sound bytes, then adjusted their lip files to match, and of course changed the name in Lilly's diary.
This bug fix will be available in the next patch.

| I like the new name myself; kind of has a dark humor to it. Now I can imagine Mercurio was setting things up for the new kid in town, looked out the window at the sign and chuckled to himself, and set "sunrise" as the password to be even more of a dick than I previously imagined him being. Ha!
I might be biased in that I never really liked "The Surfside," though.

| A ghoul with auspex 10, or whatever level it needs to see the diner from the player's apartment window You'd have to be able to look through the clinic and the Asylum buildings. For my personal view, if I'd ever change something about the diner, I would make it look even more old fashioned. If you ask Arthur about the diner, he will tell you that there wasn't a stuff change since Nixon was in office. And that was a while ago... - | |

| Perhaps you remembered it from a short glance in the intro scene. That is located above foxy boxes. so there are windows facing both, the diner and the Asylum. I'm not sure where the camera starts, but I do know that you can see the Asylum entrance before the cam closes in on the bed. - | |

- Totally. We discussed that when we thought about the reasons why the character is not really "new" to LA/Santa Monica right ?

- That must be it. I knew I saw that part of town out of the window, just got which window messed up. ^^; - Feral wrote:

*sniffs air* Might be an interesting side quest to try and find out who your sire was and/or why they chose you; you could take the cab there to look for a clue. I've always wanted to know the story behind the PC's Embrace.

| It's not a complete map, but easily accessible via console for snooping around. Just enter the command "map sp_theatre" Don't touch the trigger. it will start the intro, and don't try the Asylum door. That crashes the game... To get into the room, use noclip. - | |

| I like "Surfside" better. The surfer kids gather there... One sunrise is enough for the whole game. | |

| I didn't really see the point in changing the name either, but I honestly don't care much either way. | |
