| I own both Interview with the Vampire and The Lost Boys. Both amazingly awesome movies, I loved the soundtrack to Lost Boys, especially the main theme by Sisters of Mercy!
I have yet to see 30 days of night, is it good? It looked like a cheesy vampire film so I never watched it. I may go rent it with your recommendation.

| I really like "Interview with a Vampire" and "Queen of the Damned". Going to watch "Lost Boys" today or tomorrow, I'm really excited abou it. I read something about that there will be a possible film adaption of "The Vampire Lestat" | |

| I stand corrected on "30 Days of Night". I bought it last night and watched it with my wife, it was actually a pretty sweet movie. My wife couldn't go to sleep last night afterwards, she made us leave all the lights on, HAHA!! Thanks for the recommendation Burger! | |

| All excellent choices, but if you haven't seen "Near Dark" please do yourselves a massive favour and get hold of a copy. Quite simply: it rocks. | |

| Actuallyyyyyyy The WoD (and Vampire the Masquerade) was inspired by Anne Rice's books.. Therefore, you should say "the WoD has many elements form the Queen of the Damned, the book who was then adapted into a movie" (I must say however that the Queen was not even good, Interview was much much better, that was some serious cast.. I even think Underworld was better too ) | |

| I've never seen "Interview" (can't stand Tom Cruise). But the book is good. The only Anne Rice I read twice. For the Queen, I agree with Claudia. Even Underworld is better. - | |

| I was very into the Anne Rice books as a kid, so much so that my Mother would buy me anything with Anne Rice's name on the spine. One day she came home with an Anne Rice book called "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty". I don't recommend it. Unless you like borderline-hardcore sado-masochistic pornography. In which case it's excellent. | |

Who doesn't? On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to trying out True Blood, which I've just added to my netflix queue. I'm going to give CW's Vampire Diaries a whirl, not to mention John Landis' Innocent Blood (which I've never seen even though it's nearly 20 years old).

| Interview with the Vampire is still the best "VtM lore based" movie on the market hands down. And Queen of the Damned was as bad as Interview was good. Both movies were on opposite sides of the spectrum for me.
I've been getting ideas for the Setite skins by watching "From Dusk til Dawn", the whole snake theme in the bar and the Mexican/Almost Egpytian style vampires are giving me great ideas for skins.

| "From Dusk til Dawn" was an amazing movie. I saw it at the cinema and went in having no idea whatsoever what it was about. That meant that when it changed gear halfway through (no spoilers, I promise) I was utterly blown away
True Blood was pretty good too. I only saw the first season, but it has most of the ingredients I look for in good Vamp stories.

- Spoiler:
I guess using super-soakers to squirt holy water at vampires is a novel approach.
