So they like, cling on his fur and try to make him not to go in hiding place, but rather go back!

Can't be the reason. A cute little kitten like Feral certainly wears a flea collar. So no sucking things.
And anyway. A cat will always lick its fur for some reason or another.
If it feels dirty, it will lick it's fur. If it is annoyed, it will lick it's fur. If it's been caught doing something it knows it mustn't do... If there is nothing better to do....
