As i saw Claudia's 'my best music' topic i couldn't help but think 'is anyone on last.fm?'. If so add me, if not join Smile

Well it's not that known, but i think it's great. I got to know so many new Bands i really like. Last.fm is basically a site which tracks your listened music from your media player of choice and gives you similar bands etc which you may like. For example if you listen to Nightwish you get these Bands as recommendation:
Tarja, Epica, Within Temptation, Xandria, Sirenia, Sonata Arctica, Delain
which are similar to Nightwish and you may like Wink

I don't know why it isn't that much known.. i really like it.

So you can basically see which kind of music the other person listens to, how much alike your music taste is etc.

LastFM is pretty useful when you need recommendations, but, ermm.
I got stuck with it when I realized I'm listening to music with my portable device 80% of time and I kinda don't want to buy Ipod only to be able to scrobble tracks to the system.
So if you have no devices which support Last.FM - it becomes not so useful.

Well i mainly listen to music with VLC or Winamp, so never have problems.
