Some questions about Protean forms

Well, I noticed that PC's Protean's kinda a wolfbat (at least I think so), Beckett's a white/blue glowing wolf..I know that older vampire generations would turn also in wolf instead of a monster form wich Beckett let clear that the new generation's blood is less "pure" (that's what I understood).. the problem is, the Sheriff seems to be Gangrel (at least because his Animalism skills, I know other clans have that also) but he also turn into that giant bat, only place I've ever heard the term Kiroptian was in Blood+ anime.According to the game that guy must be younger than Beckett's so how can his Protean be so more powerfull (including also the size LOL )

Also Andrei's Zulo form (wich Redemption's final boss could also use), but isn't Andrei Tzimisce? And how comes in Redemption all clans can learn Protean ? o.O"

The Sheriff isn't of clan Gangrel, but instead an African Bloodline called a Nagloper. Nagloper's have both Animalism and Vicissitude which allows him to transform into his Chiroptean Marauder form.

Redemption strayed very far from the PnP roleplaying game. In Redemption your character (Christoff) is a Brujah by default but eventually learns every single discipline. Again Redemption doesn't follow the PnP game like Bloodlines does, (or at least tries it's best too).

Um, in PnP you can learn all disciplines as well... it just costs more than clan disciplines and requires training.

In PnP Gangrel are unlimited in what animals they can revert to, while non-gangrel protean users seem to be limited to wolves, ravens and bats. Rather interesting

The 'monstrous' forms tend to be clan related though, almost cultural and mystical inner beast forms that emerge from use of protean.

That explains all xD I do need to read the clan books, already bought the Brujah one.

Edit: I found a site where we can download a simple mod that changes Protean form to a wolf exactly like Beckett's form, but can only use disciplines...no way to atack other than that =/ If any is interested I can send the link.(Haven't tested yet)
