Antitribu Samedi vs. TFN Samedi

The guys making Bloodlines Antitribu recently released the screens for the PC male Samedi and I got curious of people's opinion.

I personally prefer the TFN Samedi as it looks more like a decaying corpse and less like a charred corpse. Still quite cool though.

Having dabbled in modding other games, I am always loath to disdain the work of others. That being said, I agree. Zer0's textures are rather significantly better in my opinion.

I looked at the gallery with pleasure, very well done. Outfits were interesting and well chosen, Haiti-styled for sure.
Commendable work.
But as Voraxith said: Samedi are rotting corpses, not charred ones. So for me Zer0's work is still better. It has that faint aroma of lore...

Thanks for the compliments guys. I do have to say that I like my textures/theme better as well but not because I did them, but because the artwork appears basic and low resolution. I will admit however the models with the hat are fantastic, I wish I could steal them for more variety on TFN's models. I have a feeling I know who did the models and who did the skins, and they aren't the same person.

I'm guessing that the modeler is a wee bit more experienced than the texture artist? As I was given credit for, Samedi are dead bodies, not charred bodies.

Anyhow, I have to agree, maybe the texture needs to be redone and it would be perfect I guess. Do want that tophat however :-o

While I do like how TFN Samedi looks, I must wonder, and no offense to either Zero or anyone who worked on TFN or Antitribu, but did anyne consider the "third" clan-so-ugly-that-insta-masquerade-violation, the Harbringers of Skulls?

Also, as for the Samedi design...well, muscles are pinkish. Again, no offense, but maybe they went for a "charred" look because the "decayed" one was already taken in TFN?

I would've loved to have the Harbinger of Skulls in TFN but unfortunately I was limited by what disciplines I could have so they didn't fit. In fact my original plan was to have the True Brujah with the Temporis discipline along with Salubri Warriors with Valeren. I also wanted Old Clan Tzimisce and the Sisters of Cacophony but alas, the Bloodlines engine told me "No, Sir!!".

Once again the Antitribu female model tier 3 and 4 look great. I'm not a fan of the top hat on the female but the ripped up dress looks amazing. If only the textures were top notch like the model.

It looks like a body without the skin, but that's about all.
