| In my recent play I got up to Chinatown with no major problem; the hunter in Skyline was a bit harder, depending on who had the first strike, otherwise it all were just too easy. I've taken the liberty of making a poll: myself I'd like at least a little increase in difficulty. | |

| It could be a little harder, but not much. Lets say harder than vanilla, but not too much, because that would scare off new players. TFN is hard enough, which is good, but for veterans. Turning each and every XP between your finger before you spend it: priceless...
Don't take me wrong, I like planing and it is fun, but for a newbie... Well...

| What exactly do you mean by more difficult? More and/or harder fights? Something else? - | |

| I think combat difficulty is fine as is. But what I wouldn't mind is if the various resources (blood, money, humanity?) were a little harder to come by. | |

| -I- mean combat. Not more, but harder fights. | |

| I wouldn't mind if it were as hard as TFN, but I'll be fine with majority rules. | |

| I don't play Bloodlines for its difficulty because since I play mouseless, it gets complicated very very fast. So I won't vote. | |

| If you want the fights to be a bit harder, that's no big deal. You just have to edit 2 entries in \vampire\vdata\rules.txt Damage_Info { "Soak_Difficulty_PC" "7" //"3" "Soak_Difficulty_NPC" "7" //"7" "Defense_Difficulty_PC" "7" //"3" "Defense_Difficulty_NPC" "7" //"7" } The numbers behind the commentary // are the values from vanilla, and also used in CE. So success is more or less guaranteed for your whole defense and soak pools, while npcs have a hard time defending themselves. If you want to make it really hard, you can even make the difficulty lower for npcs and harder for the pc. 7/7 and the bloodtimer is what I usually setup when I play the patch only without any mod. - | |

| I have to confess, I wish we would've made a CE/TFN hybrid. What I mean is, it would've been so cool to use all of the systems from TFN but keeping the original CE clans. Unfortunately that would take ALOT of time to do and I'm just too lazy to do it.
But yeah, I'm all for CE being a little harder. How? I don't know, I leave that for Malkav to decide.
