Saturday Night
Once they arrive, Nyx knocks on the door and is greeted by a man named Leopold. Duncan introduces everyone, and they ask if Lyle is there. Leopold says no, that he hasn't heard of him since the night before. Supposedly he was meant to have a form of gaming session with Lyle, who failed to show up. Leopold claimed that Kersten hadn’t logged on to his game account in over 24 hours, which Leopold said was unprecedented, and proved it through the PSN logs. He asked a bunch of gaming buddies if they knew his location, but all of them declined knowledge. One of them referred to the Regent as a “leech”, which suggested that they knew his true nature (or had some strange gaming nicknames). Leopold was welcoming enough and quite eager to show them Lyle's psn nickname (Lylou63, really ?) and everyone of the group didn't seem to think that Kersten was in fact a several centuries old, powerful kindred. At least Leopold is very casual while talking about his Tremere gaming friend. He also informed the kindred that they've known each other for about 15 years (which would be when Leopold was in his mid teens).
Leopold did have the chivalry to ask whether he'd need to offer them something (to eat), to which Duncan replied as "nothing you'd be willing to give us". Through word games, everyone seems to be aware that everyone knows that nobody is mortal. Leopold did threaten the kindred that if they even tried to "take what he wasn't willing to give them", they'd earn themselves a trip to Taiwan (where it's, of course, daytime). That's some hell of a walk back.
After Nyx left her number with Leopold, the group exited the building. Once outside, Duncan revealed that Leopold is a mage, and he meant what he was saying about the trip to Taiwan. The mage seemed hyper caffeinated and sleep deprived, but way too energetic to have such things bother him.
Outside of Lyle’s gaming haven, everyone stepped away from each other to make phone calls. William contacted his sire, while Duncan contacted Theodore Jacob. Nyx contacted M’sieur Pierre. Fred waited.
Nys tells everyone that the Nosferatu have apparently agreed to give the neonates a guided tour through the underground they had previously kicked the coterie out of, to look for the item the Tremere want, if they would assist Nyx with finding a missing Nosferatu neonate named Momo. The coterie agrees and adds it on their “to-do list”. They decide that the next step is to ask Claudia if she knows – or can find out – where her sire is currently located. Besides – it’s on the way to Europe Plaza, which is the last place Momo’s cell phone was activated before he disappeared.
