I might have given it a try, but I simply don't have the time.

Definitely not my idea of a good computer game.

I actually hadn't noticed that this game takes place in the Legacy of Kain universe. Nosgoth is the name of the land Kain conquered when he told everyone to fuck off as he became vampire emperor of everything.
From the looks of it, it appears to be a "counter-strike with classes" gameplay, so I'm not even touching it.
This thread is now derailed So who here played the Legacy of Kain games? Watcha thought about it? I played Blood Omen 1 and Soul Reaver 1. I didn't understood english at the time I played Blood Omen, so I stopped after realizing I didn't know what to do. And I got stuck somewhere in Soul Reaver before I learned to use the internet to get walkthroughs
The setting is developed with some interesting inspirations, such as gnosticism, free will and fate with a touch of Lovecraft, etc. But as always happens when a setting makes use of time travel, sooner or later everything becomes a clusterfuck. Still refreshing to see a protagonist give the world the finger and just let it burn for once

I'm a huge fan of the legacy of Kain series, but I'm going to let this one slide past. While it might be fun as a decent multiplayer game, it's the story and the puzzles that did it for me in previous installments.

Thread derailment in a matter of three posts. A new record.
Otherwise, I think the game could use some more effort.

Considering we state our opinions about a game in a certain universe of which we speak, there is not much derailment.

I don't think any effort could make you enjoy a gametype you dislike. I mean, you could put any effort possible in MOBA games (LoL, dota, etc) and I still wouldn't play. This one looks more like a ME3 multiplayer, except competitive instead of simple horde mode.

Thread ressurection/rerailing combo
So I was surfing youtube and found this, a video of the closed beta. I'm sure there is more out there. The recorder in question played the first round as the vampire hunters and the second one as a vampire. I assume that's how it goes.
I must admit it looks fun. It looks to me that they respected a lot of the dark-decadent atmosphere of the series, although I only played 2 games.
I most probably won't play it though, for personal reasons.
