Jerome stays silent an instant, not walking anymore. He doesn't face his childe, but does speak, low but enough for him to hear.

It seems it's something he has heard before in one way or another. He pauses an instant, and with a much softer, deep and sincere tone, he adds:
(Jerome) Hate me as much as you can, but know I'll always be there.
He moves away.

| The fledgling remained even as his sire left him in the corridor. He was silent as he was left to his own thoughts, trying his best to make sense of everything that he had learned. Slowly, he made his way out of the corridor and towards the playroom, even though several things were weighing heavily upon his mind. | |
