Well, neither are equivalences, but a bunch of retards and retardesses made them look so.

| As much as I agree with the conclusion, I was hoping for the author of the video to make some points and defend them rather than just gush on about how amazing the world is. | |

| So I've been replaying Morrowind while I wait for Total War Warhammer 2 to have good mods Since I'm a big warhammer fag I've decided to make some characters based on Warhammer lore. First one I've made is based on Malekith, the witch king. Basically a Dark Elf version of Sauron that can fuck you up in melee or blow you and your entire army up with some spooky magic. But I couldn't decide If I wanted to go Redoran or Telvanni with him so I've left him on the back burner for now. I also think I've built him wrong. Will possibly do the main quest, maybe after rerolling. - This dude:
Right now I'm leveling a Warrior-Priest of Sigmar cleric type, doing Imperial Legion/Cult n Hlaalu questlines. Might do a wizard later - This dude:
The original morrowind soundtrack, while beautiful, is rather short and I've grown bored of it. So I downloaded and inserted a Majora's Mask inspired soundtrack on the game. I've found the dark, eery and apocaliptic, but still hopeful and heroic soundtrack to be amazing and a perfect fit for the game. There are 2 albums but I only used the first one. First album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4jdLygR-dI Second Album: http://www.terriblefate.com/ Any of you currently playing it? Any good builds / playstyles recommendations? Any experience with Tamriel Rebuilt? Seems like a pain to get it working properly

| Divayth Fyr is the man.
I'm surprised you couldn't decide between Redoran and Telvanni for your Melekith. I'd say Telvanni are a much better fit in both rewards and character. House Redoran is about honor and justice and the best reward they hand out is a unique medium armor helm. Telvanni are about gaining power by any means necessary and the list of rewards includes but is not limited to: daedric cuirass + greaves (both enchanted with 50 poins of Feather), an amulet that paralyzes for 30 seconds, an amulet that gives you 100% Spell Absorption + 70% Reflect for a short time, a magical robe with constant 25% Reflect, and a glove that summons 3 atronachs.
I'll check out the music.
I'm taking a bit of a break from playing Morrowind while I restat all armors and weapons. There isn't really much to recommend about builds. I remember that when I was new to the game I kept making up custom classes, but after a while most of it grew kind of samey. Armor is armor, weapons are weapons. Numbers differ, but fundamentally it all functions the same. The thing that actually makes a difference between character is how much you rely on spells, Enchanting, Alchemy, and if you use Hand-to-hand instead of weapons.
My first character was a custom class and for years so were all that followed, but at some point something in me clicked and I switched to exclusively using premade classes precisely because they were flawed and I had to work to overcome their shortcomings. And they make my character somehow feel more like part of the world knowing that my class is the same one that NPCs use.
As for playstyles, have you tried hardcore/ironman /dead-is-dead? That's what I've been doing and it makes fights much more intense knowing that if you die it's actually the end for that character. I wouldn't recommend it if you actually want to experience a specific questline, but otherwise I encourage everyone to give it a try.
Skills that I've found particularly useful for ironman palystyle are Alchemy (infinite gold + make your own healing potions), Conjuration (bound weapons), Enchant (because enchantments are overpowered compared to spells), Marksman (stay far away from things that would murderize you), Restoration (no such thing as too much healing), Sneak (choose your engagements), and to my surprise Hand-to-hand.
When I played a Healer and was stuck with Hand-to-hand as my fighting skill I expected a very short run. But it turns out most animals have 400 Fatigue and some have shitty damage (Kwama Forager, Mudcrab) so you can literally use them as punching bags for easy leveling.
I used to have Tamriel Rebuilt and it seemed decent and wasn't too hard to install. But I never really explored it much.
