Broadly speaking I agree. But from my observations in the last ten years or so, the vodka circle should by now include all of Germany.

Truly, it is more a representation of dominant alcohols types than a definite guideline. Italians drink wine, beer and grappa (vodka), Brits and Krauts beer, vodka and some wine, we in Poland drink everything Russians... Let's not go there...
