Wouldn't work on me... A couple of my German ancestors served in Waffen SS. They were good people though. They liked animals. Especially cats. Tigers, Panthers, Pumas...

Sorry I don't have materials left. All their Soldbuchen were thoroughly burned after the war. You know, Communist times, MBP (Ministerstwo Bezpieczenstwa Publicznego = Ministry of Public Safety, or commie terror apparatus) looked feverishly for "enemies of the people", "imperialist spies" and trials were, well... Over 98% of the accused guilty, sentences mostly death or long time in prison. German minority under special scrutiny of course. Even having a relative in the West was dangerous. In Germany? Aj, waj... Writing or sending parcels? A, you are a spy! Do I need to tell you how it looked for those with Wehrmacht troops among relatives? Now imagine SS. Long story sort, there is a reason my grandma speaks German, but of her children only my father knows it a bit...
I have vague memories of finding a bayonet and a helmet at my great grandma's attic when I was a little kid, but since then those vanished, and as she died more than ten years ago there is nobody I could ask. Sorry to disappoint.

More of PzKpfw V Panther and PzKpfw VI Tiger... PzKpfw IV was not a cat yet... Puma was on the SdKfz 234 family, as an armored car. Jagtpanther was a tank destroyer, not a tank per se, as it did not have a turret. And it was a hunting-cat, no? Not that regular cats are somehow worse.

Is your love for dogs a rebellious reaction to your ancestor's love for cats?

It may seem so at the first glance. Though it is more common thing - kids grew up and mom needs something to terrorize. So I rebelliously dislike cats. They defy me though, jumping in my lap, making me caress them, sleeping with me, making me feed them, letting them in and out. I buy a lot of treats for our dog just to restore the balance. The first one I remember was a cancer ridden ginger, smart as fuck and always high on morphine. Got lost and died. The other one went looking for him and never came back (though he most likely just resettled, sometimes we see him in the park). The next one mum got was the embodiment of hell, so she had his nuts cut off. Now he's a fat embodiment of hell. Surprising pack mentality, nearly attacked a shepard when our bitch squeaked. The last one got us, just came in and stayed. Cuddly as fuck. Bites noses. The german shepard is 7 now. Calm and lovely and cute and sleeps in father's bed. Trained us all well. Treats! Scratch! More treats! Lovely, lovely thing.
I really might be a Gangrel after all.

I doubt. We have a cat too. Thankfully it only emits meows of doom, not 8,8 cm antitank shells... I get to pet, feed, open the doors on demand, of course. Same for the dog. I just realized I am a fucking omega in this pack...

I feel you, bro... I have it sort of the same. We had like 6 cats (one remaining) and 6 dogs (also one remaining) so far. Add to it 5 parakeets (not simultaneously, God forbid), two rabbits, a hamster and a turtle. There was a fishtank with varied contents, too. No wonder I ended up Gangrel, no?

That, my good Sir, is a fair question... I have no clue. Ask the Tremere. Tzimisce or Assamites. They know all vile sorceries.

I wish the video linked the sources in the description, but some interesting stuff nonetheless. Among other things I was surprised that Internet Explorer is supposedly still the most widely used browser in both USA and Australia.
