Is the "book trick" doable in TFN?

By the "book trick" I'm referring to the possibility of reselling a book to a vendor before reading so you can buy it again and use it a scond time. I've being trying to use this technique with the Reed's books and failed, so is it imposible? and if it is still posible, what is the correct way to do it?

You can but the book will cost a lot more, however the book vendors have them in their inventory so when you buy one you can read it and buy another copy after.
Akeem has level 5 books (dodge, melee and firearms)

Yeah, Jimmy Reed has Low and Medium grade books, while Akeem carries Medium and High grade books. They overlap.
