| Interesting article. But the discussion... So, they want to open it. And then a drop of blood... And if it's the real thing, he will be back. Well, why not have one of the old clan around again? - | |

Well, from someone's point of view every country is Transylvania (Behind the forest). And don't blame the author. As you said, he's only medi evil, not really evil. -

Or maybe it was the guy writing the article who made the mistake.

And drink the contents dry! let's say he was a real vampire, drinking his blood would make a human a ghoul, but how would it be manageable to create another vampire? only way is sex and cloning or whatever they did to sheep Dolly?

Same as Haqim Embraced himself: he killed two Second Generation Cainites, cut his wrists and had his followers give him Vitae when he was at the point of death. Yup, not a guy to meet in the dark alley...

Simultaneously, he didn't have his own blood left. So he was drained, dead and given Vitae. Does it click now? Quick reference: http://vtmb.wikia.com/wiki/Embrace BTW, that also means Haqim had two Sires... Of opposite sexes. How heteronormatively oppressive I know, I am bad... *puts paws on snout*

*puts paws on snout* oh so a bit of vampire blood makes you a ghoul but a blood transfusion a vampire, mhm what if the person has more % vampire blood than human?

You see, crucial part is in dying: drained (to the point of death) + fed Vitae upon dying = Cainite. If a living person drinks Vitae, said person becomes Ghoul. Even if there is 100% of Vitae in said person's system. Simply put: living blood + living body = mortal unliving blood (mixed with living blood to any %) + living body = Ghoul (or a Ravenant) unliving blood + unliving body = Cainite

| The crucial part is the dying. Being drained to the point of death isn't necessary, but most sires drain their childer during the embrace to compensate for the vitae they have to feed to the childe for the embrace to work. And forget about sex to create new vampires. That's complete BS. No dead body can produce living sperms or eggs. - | |

| ehh, some elder Tremere might have access to Obeah. between that and Thaumaturgy, it might be possible. Not sure why they would want to, though. oh yeah, and Golconda does weird shit doesn't exist. - Feral wrote:

but WHAT a rush! I didn't sleep for 9 days strait! So you are saying that Vitae causes insomnia? I am not convinced... On the other hand, I don't really sleep at nights. Maybe that's the reason...? Ah, Golconda does exist. If you encounter those afflicted, run. Fast and far.

Ah, Golconda does exist. If you encounter those afflicted, run. Fast and far. Nonononono, it is just a powerful stimulant. I was restless for weeks! Couldn't sit still! Everything was just so, so . . . hmmm I'm not sure how to describe it, bright/clear/slow seems to work, but it fails to encapsulate that certain something that comes from being fed, and that level!!! Course, the trip across the ocean with her asleep in her cargo took an eternity!
