Game suddenly stopped loading after I got on the boat to escape from the Society of Leopold caverns. Console showed something like "msg overflow". Tried one of the workarounds, but even teleporting to another area via a console command didn't solve the problem.
After trying to solve the issue for several hours including semi-successfully console-teleporting to Downtown from Society of Leopold 4 at the cost of a complete inventory wipe, it turned out that the problem is acutally related to the inventory (which was badly overloaded at that time). After I dropped Bach's rifle and the two books I had picked up during the quest I could leave the area normally by boat. No need for fits of rage, tears or console tricks.
